First, a place where I've been, that I loved, and where I want to go back one day: Bulle, Gruyère, Switzerland. Inside the walls of this wonderful castle I eat the most delicious strawberries with Gruyère cheese and I've seen the first Bernese Mountain dog. :D

Second, a place where I'm in almost everyday: Lisbon! This awesome French minisheet shows some of the most known monuments of Lisbon. But there's much more to see here!

This FDC was sent as a gift for the First Anniversary of my Philatelic RR at Postcrossing. It was a very nice surprise! The cancelations are also very beautiful.

A beautiful surprise arrived from Hong Kong. The joint issue HK-BR on football.

And it came with an extra surprise on the back. Besides the postmark of the Hong Kong post offices, it also received a postmark from the PT post offices, from a town that is not my own! :D This means this lucky guy travelled more that he should! ;)

I love almost all kind of nuts! It was a nice surprise to receive this "nut" card from some nuts from Netherlands! :D Too bad the stamps were not cancelled, they are so beautiful they deserved more!

Another good example from the country of tulips and windmills. The 2 donkeys are french but the lovely stamps are definitely Dutch! Another amazing official card from Postcrossing.

One of my favorite Estonian issues, these dedicated to animals. And there's the new one, dedicated to the arctus bear.

From France a huge minisheet! Unfortunately you can hardly see the postmark here but I can assure, it has 4 cancellations "Musée de la Poste - Paris" on it! ;)

AMERICA

From the american continent I only received one cover, but it shows how pretty were the old american stamps. I wish they will be issued again... :'(

ASIA

From China, a big cover with big stamps. I love the chinese writing on the postmark!

From India, a very interesting small envelope almost covered with stamps!

From Malaysia, a mixture of themes with a good result!

And from Taiwan, a special cover dedicated to the Deaflympics, hold in Taipei. Very beautiful cancelation!

EUROPE

From France, one of the best covers I've ever received. A pretty envelope with pretty stamps and cancelation! Merci, Jerome!

First the cover that can be the first letter I've ever received from China. I received it from a swap previous to Postcrossing era.

The other 2 are more recent, already 2009.

Although I mainly collect european countries only I must say chinese stamps are very interesting. Very colorful and traditional. And another advantage: they are real stamps, not those awful sticker stamps european and north american post offices insist on issuying! Keep it that way, please!

First, my "cover of the week". An issue of stamps from 1974, the year I was born. From loving Sara, who else? :D

Second one of my "cards of the week" - they were so many - with a matching stamp on the cover!

Now random covers I received in the past months that were waiting to be scanned (I have more but those are for another day!)

This beautiful Moomin cover was a very nice surprise with the first day issue!

The Philatelic RR in Postcrossing Forum have been giving me much fun and awesome stamps and covers.

Amongst others, I choose these 2 to show today. They came from Estonia and Brazil and are both related to Nature/Animals (a theme I love) and both amazing. How is it possible NOT to love stamps after receiving letters like these?! ; )

And now a cover I received in the last days of March/first days of April. I just found it among others! It came from Hong Kong and was sent by bird lover Ed. : )
I love the combination of the grey shades cover with the colorful stamp.

This entire card was released for the inauguration of the stadium Alvade XXI, SCP - Sporting Clube de Portugal. On the 5th anniversary the post offices issued a special cancellation, that a good friend managed to send me:

This week's elected card came from the US. 2 cute marmots look over the horizon. Always on alert for predators. : )

The card is decorated with old, traditional, BEAUTIFUL stamps:If the US postal administration would go back issuying this kind of stamps the US would be a country I'd love to collect more seriously!

I'm absolutely crazy about stamps! I collect them since childhood and this has been the only collection I kept throught the years. I received this beautiful cover from a swiss postcrosser ( danke, Sara!) some weeks ago. It's amazing and a "miracle", these stamps can't be used for posting anymore!

This cover was also a big surprise cause we were swaping cards, I had no idea I was going to receive an extra "sweet" (yes, Doris, I was speechless when I received the envelope). : )

My first card collection - foxes - begun with this card, a private swap with a Finn postcrosser. I fell in love the minute I saw it on an online album. After 125 cards received, this is still one of the favorites!
