Estonian covers

Today I show 2 magnific covers from August4 for the Philatelic RR:

Group 28 - around Christmas. If the Christmas tree is a hint, Deer Rudolph tells it all... :D

This minisheet is awesome and Kristiina made it better by using that colored envelope. Everytime I receive great covers like this I remember about my ever-to-start "Covers of the World" project. It's something that I've been thinking to start seriously but always postpone due to lack of time. The goal is to collect a real circulated cover to me from as many countries as possible.

A bit of Nature, a bit of Animals

Today's last post - it's getting a bit late.

What is Spring without animals?

2 special covers I LOVE, from Netherlands. One of them has a fox on it, I've been dying to have it. Paul surprised me with the whole issue... Postcrossers are the best people in the World! : )

Spring is here! Who likes flowers?

Spring is here! I love this season: not too hot and not too cold. I could show a lot of beautiful stamps with flowers but I've choosen these 5 covers:

A minisheet from Madeira booklet "Regiões de Turismo" - 2005

Beautiful cover from Finland. I love this issue...

3 covers, a complete issue. Received in exchange for a stamps issue from Portugal. Lovely!

HAPPY ~*~ SPRING!!!

Who asked for SCP stamps? : )

Following Ninocas' request for more nice stamps, here are some, specially for her! :D

This entire card was released for the inauguration of the stadium Alvade XXI, SCP - Sporting Clube de Portugal. On the 5th anniversary the post offices issued a special cancellation, that a good friend managed to send me:

There are also other stamps issued about SCP:

Card of the week - cute marmots from the US

This week's elected card came from the US. 2 cute marmots look over the horizon. Always on alert for predators. : )

The card is decorated with old, traditional, BEAUTIFUL stamps:If the US postal administration would go back issuying this kind of stamps the US would be a country I'd love to collect more seriously!

From Germany to Portugal, for the crazy Chatspam RR, the tastiest card of the week.

An official from the US - the cutiest card received last week. The seagul's wings are perfurated.

And last but not least, the Unesco card of the week: Butrinti, Albania. An official from Finland that also included another surprise:
These cute artic foxes stamps. Too bad they weren't cancelled but still awesome! 8)

Stamps, selos, timbres, briefmarken...

I'm absolutely crazy about stamps! I collect them since childhood and this has been the only collection I kept throught the years. I received this beautiful cover from a swiss postcrosser ( danke, Sara!) some weeks ago. It's amazing and a "miracle", these stamps can't be used for posting anymore!

This cover was also a big surprise cause we were swaping cards, I had no idea I was going to receive an extra "sweet" (yes, Doris, I was speechless when I received the envelope). : )

It all begun with a swap...

My first card collection - foxes - begun with this card, a private swap with a Finn postcrosser. I fell in love the minute I saw it on an online album. After 125 cards received, this is still one of the favorites!
